Frances "Pauline" Smith

Reverend Frances "Pauline" Lennington Smith, born July 9, 1925, departed this life to spend eternity with Jesus Christ, October 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Beulah (Tucker) Lennington; husband of 59 years, Raymond G. Smith; daughter, Jo Ann Kaufman; brother, Bunnel; sisters, Berdie, Alma and Thelma. She is survived by son and daughter in-law, Nelson and Patty Smith; son-in-law, Robert Kaufman; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and countless friends who find a void in her passing. Rev. Smith's ministry, with The Churches Of Christ In Christian Union, spanned 66 years serving as pulpit supply, pulpit evangelist and pastor of two of its churches. Viewing hours: October 10, 2012, 5-8pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH. Services Thursday, 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown, Ohio. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Harlem Church Of Christ In Christian Union, 11229 Gorsuch Rd, Galena, OH 43021.
