Frances Seese

Frances "Fran" (Magaw) Seese, 79, went home to be with the Lord on January 31, 2025. She was born on May 16, 1945 in Columbus, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Gertrude Magaw, siblings and in-laws, Thomas (Patricia) Magaw, Joanne (Donald) Kyser.

Surviving family includes children, Kevin Rhodes, Donna (Darryl) Jordan, Jacquelyn (Tom) Johnson, Linda York, Michael Seese, grandchildren, David Rhodes, Bradley Rhodes, Tina (Bruce Hubert) Dalzell, Darryl (Audra) Jordan II, Jillian (Jonah Larsen) Johnson, Victoria (Cole) Thomas, Jacob (Makayla Knott) Staley, Casey (Michael) Bercik, Jennifer York, Kaitlin York, Robert York, brother, John (Helen) Magaw and many loving great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Fran attended St. Joseph Academy and Franklin University. She was employed as an accounting manager and retired from MedFlight. She was an intelligent, hard worker and an excellent provider.

Fran enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading, bowling, playing cards, and traveling. Her children will remember her car travel cassette tape on repeat of the Kenny Rogers' Greatest Hits album particularly when she sang along to the song "Lady". She had a wonderful smile and a beautiful laugh. She was generous and would always try to ease the burdens of others. She is loved and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.

A funeral service will be held at 11am, Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the funeral home.

Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
