Francine L. Vann, 60, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, December, 11, 2009. Francine was born to Fornia and Catherine (Clark) Plair in Cincinnati, OH., on September 7, 1949, and is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marlene Dunn. Survivors include her husband, Lee Vann; daughters, Tonya George, Nichole (Andrew) Oocumma and Erica Dodson; brother, Dwight Plair; grandchildren, Drew Oocumma, Catherine George, Jack Dodson, D'Nisa Oocumma and Ashley George; brother-in-law, James "Alex" Dunn; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Francine worked for TeamAmerica and sold real estate for Superior Homes Realty. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday December 17, 2009, 5-8 PM at Maize Manor United Methodist Church, 3901 Maize Road, Columbus, OH 43224. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2009, 10:00 AM at the Maize Manor United Methodist Church. At Francine's request, to celebrate her life, please wear light colored clothing to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Carmel Hospice, 793 West State Street, Columbus, OH 43222.
