Francis Klever Shasteen Jr. of Washington Court House, Ohio passed away February 29, 2024 and went home to be with the Lord. He had been a resident of Four Seasons of Washington since September of 2022 and had been suffering from dementia.
Born September 18, 1953 in Wilmington, Ohio to the late Francis and Betty (Johnston) Shasteen.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Linda and one sister, Vicki Montgomery.
He retired from Smurfit Stone in 2012 where he had been employed for 38 years.
He was a strong Christian and never lost his faith, and his favorite saying was, "God is good all the time."
He is survived by two brothers, Jim Shasteen of Kingston, Tennessee and Bob (Tammy) Shasteen of Ashville, Ohio. He is also survived by two daughters, Carissa (Eric) Rutherford and Sasha (Jason) Slattery, as well as five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Francis' wishes a simple cremation will be performed.
