STOLLARD

Francis "Jim" Stollard, 80, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Mt. Carmel West. Jim was born May 26, 1928 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Pearl and Delma Stollard. Jim served in the Navy during WWII, and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 4044. In the past Jim was also a member of American Legion Post 532. Jim worked for Anchor Hocking in Lancaster, North American in Columbus, Lanier Plumbing for 12 years, and Donley Plumbing for 12 years. Jim greatly enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing for walleye and perch with his wife, Tampa. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by infant son, Johnny; brother, Gene Stollard; and sister, Betty Polland. Jim is survived by his wife, Tampa; children, Gary Stollard, Rebecca Breckenridge and Edward Stollard; grandchildren, Nikki "Popper", Alesha, Heather, Jeromie, and Angie; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Juanita Hymes; brother, Pete Stollard. Friends and family may call Thursday, July 24, 2008 from 6:00PM-7:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Memorial service will be held immediately following at 7:00PM at the funeral home.
