Francita Taylor, 84, of Urbancrest, went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 30, 2008 at the James Cancer Hospital. She was born November 16, 1924, in Bracktown, KY., daughter of the late John Henry and Mildred Walker. In addition to her parents, Francita was preceded in death by her husband, James Peter Taylor; sons, James Preston and Walter Lee Taylor; brother, John Henry Walker Sr.; niece, Jean Buchanan. She is survived by her son, Hollice (Olivia) Taylor; daughters, Patricia Turner and Katherine Evans; nephews, John Henry Walker Jr., David (Gail) England and Larry Walker; nieces, Patricia Whitney, Shirley Brown, Loretta Walker, Carolyn Walker and Bernice Douglas; special friends, Charlene Rivers and Marsha Early; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, December 5, 2008 at 1:00 PM at New Generation Church, 1173 Essex Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43201, with visitation one hour prior to services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home S.W. Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Interment will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.
