Frank Burkart, 49, of Columbus passed away Monday, February 7, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 7, 1961, in Columbus. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Robert Burkart. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Gianato Burkart; mother, Louise McLeish Burkart; sons, Eddie (Jennette) Hill and Daniel (Angie) Hill; siblings, Lynn Shoemaker, John (Toni) Burkart, Kim Valentine and Michael (Donna) Burkart. Visitation will be Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Rd. Columbus, Oh 43224, with the funeral Mass beginning at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sheila. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
