Frank Louis Eggart Sr., 82, of Circleville, Ohio, formally of Florida, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Frank was the owner of Frank Eggarts Auto Barn for many years, raced cars at Columbus Motor Speedway for over 20 years, a veteran of WWII and most importantly a life long follower of Christ. Frank is survived by his children, Shirley Levan of Circleville, Rhea Thompson of Grove City, Frank (Cathy) Eggart of Grove City, and Dolly (Albert) Knapp of Columbus; 2 sisters; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, stepchildren, nieces and nephews. Special thank you to nurse Ashley Bailey and Lori. Visitation will be held Friday, January 4, 2008 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, Pastor Owen Stotts officiating. Interment will follow at New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio. Graveside service will begin at 12:00 PM.
