Frank M. Long, 71, of Grove City, passed away suddenly on Monday,May 9, 2016. Frank was born to William and Ida (Held) Long on April 29, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Martha Price and brother, Fred Long. Frank is survived by his ex-wife of 37 years, Darla (Johnson) Long; children, Patti (Damon) Drumsta and Kevin (Misti) Long; grandchildren, Courtney (Brandyn) Patterson, Jessica, Justin and Matthew Long; great-grandchildren, Faith, Grace and Christian Patterson. Frank will also be missed by many other friends and family members too numerous to list.
Frank worked for the state of Ohio Central Warehouse for 30 years where he was a supervisor. He was also a member of the Army Reserves for 6 years while working for the warehouse.
He volunteered for the American Red Cross for 12 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 689. He was also a member of the Archbar Grotto. Frank enjoyed dancing with the Tracktown Shirt and Skirts Square Dance Club of Grove City. Frank was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He loved to spend time with his family.

Visitation will be at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016. A funeral service will follow immediately after. There will be a Masonic Funeral performed during this time. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne, OH.
