Frank E. Tolbard Jr.

Frank E. Tolbard Jr., age 95, of Columbus passed away on February 4, 2023. He was born on April 1, 1927 to the late Frank and Nell Tolbard. In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by wife of 66 years, Mary; brother, Harry Tolbard and sister-in-law, Dottie Tolbard.

Frank is survived by his children, Frank Tolbard, Melinda Tinsky; grandchildren, Aubrie (Bryan) Hasselbusch, Trevor Tinsky; special family members, Sheree (Barry) Gaston, Gary (Becky) Whiteman; along with neighbor, Rodney (Leslie) Atterholt; as well as many other family and friends.

Frank was a founding member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and was a current member of Rock City Church. He retired from National City Bank/PNC where he worked for over 50 years. Frank loved bowling, traveling, reading about the Civil War and spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Newcomer Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, and from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Rock City Church, 1250 Gemini Place. Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad Street.

A gathering will be held at Frank's "Steve" home following burial.
