Frank Charles Tompkins

Frank Tompkins, 95, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio. Frank was born on November 30, 1928, in Columbus, Ohio to Cydnor Emmett Tompkins and Magdalena Regina (Diefenbach).

Frank married Patricia Ann Tompkins in Columbus, Ohio on September 30, 1950.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son-in-law Fred Boron, his sister and brother-in-law Virginia and John Hubbard.

He is survived by his son, James (Mona) Tompkins, his daughter, Patty Boron, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 from 9:30 am to 10:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 10:00 am also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Hospice Center of your choice in Frank's honor.
