Franklin A. Childers U.S.N., RET., 64, passed away November 5, 2011. He was born December 26, 1946 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Eileen Childers. Survivors include his wife, Mary; children, Lori (Harvey) Harmon, Carol Louise Childers, Terina Childers Murphy and Michelle Sasha Childers; siblings, Sadie Moleen Poffitt, Gerald Lou Childers, William Eugene Childers, Carol Ellen Smith and Dianna Purdue; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 with funeral services immediately following visitation at 6:00 PM.
