Franklin Cecil

Franklin D. R. Cecil, 71, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2006 at Kobacker House. Born to the late Benton and Eula Cecil, Franklin is preceded in death by his son, Franklin Jr.; sister, Dorothy Knight; brothers, Edward and Bernard Cecil. Survivors include his wife, Hetty Cecil; son, Thomas; daughters, Cheryl Cecil, Diane (Rick) Atwell, Cathy Robinson, Elizabeth ( Mike) Cornell, Karen Hamilton; sisters, Frances Wykle, Nannie Lowe, Bonnie Cecil, Sylvia( Effort) Newsome; brother, Willard Cecil; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Franklin served with the Army in Korea. Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the High Street Baptist Church, 7399 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio , on Monday, August 21, 2006, with the service on Tuesday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
