Franklin R. McClain, age 72, passed away Tuesday, May 17th, 2005 in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. McClain was a retired guard from the London Correctional Institute. He is preceeded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ann, grandsons Mark McClain and Conrad Smith. Survived by daughters, Carolyn (Dan) Thacker, Virginia (David) Dillon, Peggy Brown, Sandy McClain, Nancy (Jack) Rowley, Nina (Scott) Evans; sons, Frank McClain, Rocky McClain and Mark McClain, sister Annabelle Kountz. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 31st at 12:00p.m., at the Sumerford Township Cemetery in London, Ohio. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society, 870 Michigan Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
