Fred D. Perry

Fred Delano Perry "Danny," 83, of Pomeroy, OH, passed away on December 31st at Meadows of Scioto nursing home in Columbus, Ohio. Fred was born on March 6, 1939, to Jennings and Polly Perry in Christian, WV. Fred retired from Civil Construction Company, where he was a career welder for many years. Fred was married to the love of his life, Cletes D. Perry for 60 + years. Fred enjoyed farming, raising livestock...especially his horse Goober, golfing with his dearest friend Floyd Damron, hunting, fishing, and drag racing. Fred is predeceased by his parents and siblings Thelma, Georgia, Fredonia, Mary, and Donald. He is survived by his wife, Cletes; his nieces and nephews, Thomas (Sharon) Damron, Sue (Paul) Rings, Larry Damron, Roger (Charlene) Robinson, Lisa (Don) Day, Don Jr. (Dawn) Perry, Ronald Perry, Mike (Gail) Perry; brothers-in-law, Timothy (Barbara) Lobb, Clifford (Nancy) Jordan, Robert (Cheryl) Jordan, along with many other great nieces, nephews, and dear friends. His great nephew PJ Rings will officiate a memorial ceremony for family and close friends on January 15, 2023. His love and laughter will be missed by all.
