Fred E. Unger Jr., 53, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008 at his residence. He was born October 12, 1954, in Columbus to Fred E. Unger, Sr and Doris (Stewart) Unger and was preceded in death by them. He is survived by his wife, Tina (Powers) Unger; son, Todd (Melissa Geeting) Unger; daughter, Charie (Gary) Parfitt; grandchildren, Dylan, Austin, Mya Parfitt, and Adam Geeting; sister, Karen (Jim) Reitz; brother, John (Debbie) Unger; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, best friend Jeff Jones and loved pet Oliver. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 6, 2008, 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Blendon Central Cemetery.
