Freddie Smith, 87, passed away at home on Sunday, December 19, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born on February 4, 1934 in Baxter Springs, Kansas to the late Lee and Ruth Smith.
Freddie is survived by his sons, Mitchell (Margie) Smith, Michael (Vickie) Smith, and Gregory Smith; grandchildren, Jonathan Spinks, Colton Smith, and Tia Smith; sister, Mary Lou Logan and a host of family and friends.
Freddie enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid bowler and golfer.
Freddie served honorably in the United States Air Force and was a teacher for over 20 years at West High School in Columbus, OH.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
