Frederick "Fred" Wynne Neimeister, 65, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Mount Carmel Grove City. He was born on June 22, 1958 to the late Frederick Christian Neimeister and Betty Jane (Delong) Neimeister.
Along with his parents, Frederick is also preceded in death by brothers James Christian Neimeister and Timothy Lloyd Neimeister; uncle James Bernard Neimeister; and stepmother Sue Neimeister.
Frederick is survived by his wife, of 37 years, Chhurn-Lee (Meas) Neimeister; children Freddie (Katie) Neimeister, Jeremy Neimeister, Derrick (Liz) Neimeister, Aaron Neimeister, and Leah (Ryan) Appis; grandchildren Leena Neimeister, Sonya Neimeister, Camila Neimeister, Aria Neimeister, and baby girl Appis, who is on the way; brother Karl Delmar (Jennifer) Neimeister; along with nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Frederick was an enthusiast of Pontiac cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles, often working on cars in the backyard of his home. He was also a fan of classic horror and monster films and was an avid reader of horror novels. On the other hand, he had a soft spot for Disney and Pixar movies, with his favorites being "Winnie-The-Pooh" and "Up".
What Frederick enjoyed most of all, however, was spending time with his family. Every moment he had at family dinners and gatherings at the house brought pure happiness to him as he wanted nothing more than to be surrounded by his family. The adoration he had for his wife, children, and grandchildren was immeasurable. He continuously devoted himself to his family and was always there to provide support and guidance through anything. His selflessness and optimism will always be cherished and the joy he brought to the lives of others will never be forgotten.
Frederick will be deeply loved and missed forevermore.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. The funeral service will follow beginning at 6:00 pm at the same location.
