Frieda Mae Parker-Price, 82, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at St. Ann's. She was born February 10, 1928, in Jackson County, daughter of the late James Toner and Garnett Humphreys Parker. In addition to her parents, Frieda was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Price; grandson, T.J. Price; brothers, James and Willard; sister, Mildred. She retired from Lucent Technologies with over 20 years of service. Frieda is survived by her son, Terence (Pat) Price; daughter, Connie (Michael Marchant) Price; brothers, Bud (Ann), Roger (Shirley) and Albert (Bonnie) Parker; sisters, Charlotte (Howard) Beatty and Gloria (Steve) Winzenread; grandchildren, Major Charles (Kelley), Serrina (Jason), Ray, Teresa, John "Bo", Michelle and Jennifer; great grandchildren, William, Erin, Tyler, Shelby, Zac, Sebastian, Lauryn and Jacob; great great granddaughter, Isabella. Visitation will be Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral service will be Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mifflin Cemetery.
