Fritz Harold Baugess, went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2008 at his residence. Born on October 18, 1913 in Elliott County Kentucky, Fritz is preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Virgie Baugess; brothers, Curtis, Raymond "Brownie", and Elmer "Chad" Baugess; sister, Greta Rowe. Survivors include his beloved wife of 71 years, Leota (Bandy) Baugess; sons, Rollin (Shirley), William (Gloria), Edward (Ellen), Larry (Brenda) Baugess; daughters, Shirley (David) Luther and Bonnie Bethel; brother, Leo (Gloria) Baugess; sisters, Gretchen Porter, Lorraine Uhley, Virginia (Ron) Hiermer, Betty Lou (Bob) Herriot; host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 2-4PM & 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A Funeral Service will be held at the Lighthouse Ministries, 2292 South High Street, Columbus, OH at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Pastor Steve Palmer officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Greenlawn Cemetery, 643 1/2 Eastern Avenue, Chillicothe, OH. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Mt. Carmel Hospice, Columbus, OH.
