G. William "Will" Tompkins, 48, of Grove City. We sadly regret to announce the passing of our son, Will unexpectedly in his own home on Feb. 1, 2021. Making his entrance on July 28, 1972, early, upside down, and backwards, and exiting way too soon.
Self-employed excavating contractor for most of his brief life. Went to Franklin Heights High School. He was a free spirit and lived life on his own terms.
He was preceded in death by brother, Ben Brookes; grandparents, John & Cornelia McHale, George & Ann Tompkins, and Ben & Irene Brookes; and several aunts and uncles.
Left to mourn him are his parents, Ben & Barbara Brookes; and too numerous to name aunts, uncles, cousins; many friends; and fur babies, Molly, Chico, and Larry.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Cat Welfare or Franklin County Dog Shelter.
Visitation Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021 from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 11am at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Beckett Cemetery, Orient, Ohio. Masks are required for attendance.
