Gail L. Brenner, Jr., age 80, passed away October 13, 2003 at Traditions of Gahanna Nursing Home. Gail retired from Rockwell International after twenty-six years of faithful service and then retired from the City of Columbus after twelve years and was an Army Air Force Sgt in World War ll. Preceded in death by parents, Gail and Nettie (Zerkle) Brenner. Survived by loving wife Mariellen; sons Gary (Cherie) Brenner, Steven (Donna) Brenner; stepchildren Richard (Barbara) Anderson, Linda Schaleford, Janet Hering, Gerald Anderson and Robert (Courtney) Anderson; grandchildren Carrie Simmons, Krista and Britney Brenner; step grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Friday from 11 AM-12PM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus. Funeral service will be 12 PM at the funeral home. Entombment is in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial may be given to the American Cancer Society 870 Michigan Avenue.
