Gairey Lee Woolum, 65, of Grove City, passed away October 15, 2007. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; parents, Murlin and Pauline (Shephard) Woolum. Gairey is survived by his daughter, Robin (Steve) Hewitt; sons, Gairey Woolum Jr., David (Lisa) Woolum; grandchildren, Steve Hewitt II, Cassandra Hewitt, Sarah Hewitt, Tyler Brown, David Woolum Jr, Niki Brown and Brittany Woolum; sisters, Betty Utt, Connie Ware; brothers, Murlin Woolum Jr. and Michael (Debra) Woolum. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Grove City. Gairey was a veteran of the US Navy. Memorial services will be held 7:00PM Friday, October 19, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until time of services.
