Garnet M. Triplett, 97, Columbus, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 5, 2013. Garnet was born in Wheelersburg, OH on January 12, 1916, to John W. and Mary (Heiberlan) Ward and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Triplett and daughter, Mary M. Ryan.
Survivors include her daughter, Martha (Robert) Sellers; sons, Paul E. (Gladys) Triplett and Stephen (Diana) Triplett; grandchildren, Timothy (Chris) Waugh, Jeffrey Waugh, Kellie (Lewis) Thornburg, Holly (Jeff) Tyo, Amy (Walt) Kennedy; 5 great-grandchildren; special niece and her husband, Betty Lou and Ed Cooly and many friends.
Garnet was the greatest mother, grandmother and lady that ever lived.
Garnet's Family will receive friends on Monday, August 12, 2013, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
