Garret Lyle Kalish, 26, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at his residence. He was born October 9, 1981, in Columbus, son of Rodney Kalish and Beth (Lubinsky) Kalish. Garret attended Westerville South High School. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Ashley Kalish; brother, Tyler Kalish; grandparents, Wesley and Carolyn Lubinsky and Myron Kalish; aunts and uncles, Julie (Nick) Haines, Kalyn Lubinsky, Sheryl (Howard) Klein and David Kalish; cousins, Shaunna and Leigh Jennings, Josia and Leland Klein. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, S. Joan Kalish. Visitation will be Saturday, May 24, 2008 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus.
