Gary Robert Cottrell

Gary Cottrell, 75, of Grove City, passed away Saturday, February 10 at Carriage Court Assisted Living Center.
Gary was born in Dayton, Ohio to Gwendolyne Bruner Cottrell, July 5, 1948. He was preceded in death by his mother, his aunt Jacquelyn Bruner, sister, Sue (Phil) Campbell (Ray), and his grandmother Beulah Crawford Bruner.
Gary is survived by his loving wife Carla of 35 years, his son Brian (Jaymee) Cottrell, brother Russel Cottrell, brother Dave (Linda) Ray and other family and friends.

Gary graduated from University of Dayton and had a long career with the Finance Department of the Ohio Army National Guard.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Hospice Care at Carriage Court Assisted Living.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Family and friends may visit Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 4 pm – 6 pm and the 6 pm memorial service to follow.
