Gary E. Blasiman

Blasiman, Gary E., passed away on November 30, 2005 at the age of 60 in Orlando, Florida after a short courageous battle with lung cancer (non-smoker). He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was born in Salem, Ohio on November 2, 1945 to the late Russell and Esther Blasiman of Alliance, Ohio. He graduated from Marlington High School and Capital University, and retired from Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio in 2002 after 39 years. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Elsa (Ortiz) Blasiman whom he married on April 24, 1976 in Columbus, Ohio. Also surviving are his brothers Larry Blasiman (Jill) of Canton, Ohio; Don Blasiman (Diana) of Alliance, Ohio; Denny Blasiman (Debbie) of Louisville, Ohio; Dave Blasiman (Telese) of Burgettstown, Pennsylvania and his nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Blasiman will be held from 2-3 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 29, 2006 at the funeral home.
