Gary Lee Lester

Gary L. Lester, 65, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Gary was born in Columbus, OH on June 28, 1947, to Basil and Catherine L. (Chandler) Lester and is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brothers, Dallas and Jimmy; sister-in-law, Kathy Lester; niece, Danielle Friend.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Patricia (Towns) Lester; daughters, Patricia Lee (Larry) Steele and Lisa Rene' Lorentz; brothers, Thomas (Donna), David (Doris) and Danny Lester; grandchildren, Gary, Misty, Larry, Ricky, Tristen; great-grandchildren, Abigale, Austin, Tyler, Taylie, Travis, Ricky Jr. and Nolan; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Gary worked for UPS Freight for over 30 years.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
