Gary Owens
March 8, 1944 — December 3, 2012
Gary Linn Owens, 68, passed away December 3, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was preceded in death by parents, Orville and Mary; infant daughter, Mary Katherine and brother, Robert.
Gary is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Anthony (Angela); sisters, Carol (Donald) Kasser, Peggy Reed and Linda Owens; brothers, Kenny, Wilber, Walter and Orville "Bugzy" (Jeannie); grandchildren, Anthony (Lindsey) Miller and Aaron and Austin Owens; great-grandchildren, Alaina, Owen and Ashlynn; furry companion, Lillie; as well as many other family and friends.
He worked as a master carpenter for over 40 years. Gary was a member of the Desert Island Club. He enjoyed fishing, horse racing, NASCAR, and spending time with family and friends.
Visitation Saturday, December, 8, 2012 from 1pm until time of Funeral Service at 4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
