Gary Evan Ramsdell

November 19, 1942 — November 16, 2023

Gary left this mortal realm at 1:56pm Thursday, November 16,2023.
For years, he preferred Anon as his name, exemplifying his years of military service, where he was the epitome of A NonPerson – in a country leading his men in an area it was denied they existed. His undergrad and graduate studies were in Southeast Asian Philosophy. Upon to his return to the US after the war in an area where he did not exist, he lived for many years in the western US and studied with the Great Sioux Original Nation's medicine men as a student of Shamanism, which directed his future life. His life was dedicated to Truth, Trust, Loving and Giving.
Gary lived a long and storied life, most of which can't be recounted or is too long to tell here.
He watches over his wife and partner of 23 years, L. Tibbi Wood H. Ramsdell, his sons, Christopher Ramsdell (Rebecca), James Herlan (Taylor), his daughter Juliann Herlan (Auggie), his beloved Grandson, Emmitt James, many friends especially Steve and Kim O'Donnell and Dr. C Guillermo Couto and his living furkids – Sienna, Paxman and Dukie.
In accordance with his wishes, he will finally be warm as he is cremated with no service nor memorial at this time. In mid-2024, a family and friends gathering will be held to enjoy his life. Announcements will be sent.
