Gary L. Stephens , 81, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away February 20, 2021.
He was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 8, 1940 to the late Charles and Helen (Miller) Stephens.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Shirley and cousin Jim Mark.
Surviving family includes loving wife of 34 years Deloris Stephens; daughters Christina Godoy, Kimberly Stephens; sons Charles Stephens, Scott (Jessica) Stephens; grandchildren Natasha (Mourice Gallagher) Stephens, Krystal Miller, Joshua Stephens, Jessica Haberling, Sean Meraz, Veronica Campbell, Melissa Godoy, Corey (Alex) Godoy, Brianna (Kevin) Doshna, and Noah Stephens; as well as many great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Gary spent his life doing what he loved working hard as a car salesman. In his later years Gary could be found making sure his yard was perfect.
He was a longtime member of Maize Road Baptist Church, Pastor Shawn Hensley will officiate his service.
Gary was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a Funeral Service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home - NE Chapel 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus - OH 43231. Burial will take place in procession to Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus - OH.
