Gene O. Garrison Sr., 67, of Columbus, passed away Friday, July 20, 2007 at his residence. He was born November 27, 1939, in Prospect, OH, son of the late Pearl and Anna Craig Garrison. Gene is survived by his wife, Shirley Heller Garrison; sons, Gene (Lori) Garrison Jr. and Scott (April) Garrison; daughter, Darlene Jones; brother, Brady (Linda) Garrison; sister, Eva Ramsey; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, July 23, 2007 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, Columbus. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the the funeral home. Interment will be in Blendon Central Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
