Luvester Gene Young, 70; a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and brother, went to be with the Lord March 5, 2012.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Luvester Lloyd and Clara Young; step-mother, Ruth; first wife, JoAnne; son, Chris; brother, Mark; and step-daughters, Rebecca Simons and Robin Six.
He is survived by his wife, Alice (Zeallear); daughter, Laurie (Jim) Harris, sons; Jack (Windie), Jay (Eloise) and Tim (Wendy); daughter-in-law, Kathy; step-daughters, Wanda (Don) Borders, Dora (Rick) Parsons and Lee Anna (John) Gallucci; step-sons, Sherman (Cindy) Zeallear, Butch Simons and Bob Six; sister, Betty Ell; brother-in-law, Frank Perkins; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.
Visitation Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Friday, March 9, 2012 at 12 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
