George W. Canfield , 92, of Blacklick, Ohio, passed away July 3, 2022.
He was born in West Plains, MO on February 4, 1930 the late Palmer and Mabel (Ainsworth) Canfiled.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Lillian J. Canfield; devoted second wife, Madelynn Canfield; as well as 10 brothers and sisters.
Surviving family includes children, Mike (Diane) Canfield, Joyce (Mark) Hazel, Jeff Canfield; former daughter-in-law, Jennifer Fagrelius; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
George grew up on a farm in Ord, Nebraska as one of 12 children. Geroge was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed football which he played in high school.
He was in the United States Navy for four years on the ship Helena, during the Korean War.
He had a lifelong love of the outdoors and loved nothing better than to sit on the porch watching nature.
At this time the family has selected to not have any services.
