George Fleet

George Fleet, age 91 of Columbus passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at St. Ann's Hospital, Westerville. Born October 16, 1913. Formerly resided in Hot Spring, AK, Woodsfield, OH and Anderson, IN Preceded in death his loving wife Edith of 68 years on October 28, 2002, parents George & Harriet (Thompson) Fleet, brothers Joseph Fleet, and William (Ann) Fleet. Survived by his son Jerry D. Fleet of Gahanna; granddaughter Kris Nelson; great- grandchildren Theodore and Adrienne all of Westerville; sister in-law Helen Fleet of Anderson, IN; brother in-law William R. Stevenson of Vero Beach, FL,; nephews Ed Fleet, Robert Levy, Ralph Levy, Jim Levy, John Barger, Earl Stevenson, Rudy Stevenson, Robert Stevenson, Larry Onkes, Roland Rockhold; nieces Susan Beckett, Sue Weber, Sharon "Kay" McDole, Edie Dolan, Robin Johanning, Jocelyn Levy, Evelyn Rockhold; special friends Jim &Polly Lakey, Hazel Gosett, Virginia Heath all of Hot Springs, AR; Ray DeCola and Mitzi Smith both of Columbus. Visitation will be Sunday 5-8 PM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME 3047 East Dublin Granville Road. Columbus. Visitation will be Monday from 6-9 PM at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN. Funeral service Tuesday 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment in East Maple Cemetery, Anderson, IN
