George H. Bowles

George Hobart Bowles, 81, of Columbus, OH, passed away January 21, 2011 at his residence. He was born in West Virginia on October 3, 1929 to Thomas J. and Lora (Joyce) Bowles. George enjoyed computers and was a Ham operator. He retired from Columbia Gas Company in 1992. Survivors include, loving wife of 57 years, Stella Bowles, daughter, Kimberly Jones, sisters, Mary Erwin, Eunice Bowles, grandchildren, Ken Campbell, Heath (Angela) Jones, great-grandchildren, Garrett Jones and Jacob Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, and several brothers and sisters. At George's request, there will be no visitation or funeral. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH, Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Messages of condolence may be shared with family at www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
