George H. McMillin Jr, 80, Westerville, passed away Friday, June 01, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. George was born in Columbus, OH on December 8, 1931, to George H. and Elsie Faye (Saunders) McMillin Sr and is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Zona (Jackson) McMillin; brother, Donald McMillin; sister, Betty Lou Shull.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie (Ranney) McMillin; son, George H. McMillin III and sister, Jenny Rosterfor. George is also survived by his wife's children; Denise Doran, Judy (Fred) Myers, David (Lisa) Doran, Jeffrey (Patrice) Doran and 12 wonderful grandchildren.
George's family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to The Franklin County Dog Shelter, 4340 Tamarack Blvd, Columbus, OH 43224.
