George "Rick" Richard Hamilton

George "Rick" Richard Hamilton, age 75, of Columbus passed away at home on March 20, 2025. Rick was born on January 20, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Claude and Dorothy Hamilton.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Carol Ann Sisson.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 53 years, Marcia (Sisson) Hamilton, his beloved dogs, Coco and Midnight, his brother, Jeff Hamilton, 4 sister-in-laws and 1 brother-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was a proud Navy Veteran. He served 21 months in Vietnam. He was a firefighter for Franklin Township for 25 years. He loved his Lake Erie, fishing, and woodworking.

A Graveside Service will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery following Rick's cremation on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.
