George J. Kellar Sr., age 74, Friday March10, 2006 passed away at home surrounded by his Loving family. He served in the Korean War as a Seaman in the U.S. Navy, and retired from Architectural Floors. George was a member of the V.F.W Post # 4719, and the Luther B. Turner Masonic Lodge #732 F & AM.
He is preceded in death by son, George Jr., and daughter-in-law, Karen, grandsons, Parents, Brothers, and Sisters. He is survived by Loving wife of 51 years, Joyce, daughters, Denisea (David) Bowles, and Deborah and Fiancé' Mark McDaniel, Grandchildren, Ben (Maria) Kellar, Beth Montenaro, Halima and Adnan Saleh, Bianca and Zach Bowles, Great-Grandchildren, Lydia, Angel, Ricky, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Mount Carmel. Masonic Services will be held on Sunday at 7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2006 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. A funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Deborah Kellar officiating. Interment will follow in Mifflin Township Cemetery.
