George B. Lee, 77, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008. George was born in Harriettsville, Ohio on November 29, 1930 to the late Maurice and Georgia Lee. George was a retired Major serving in US Air Force. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; daughter, Georgia Scarberry; brothers, Raymond, Maurice C., Jr., William, Donald "Bus" and Robert Lee. George is survived by his children, Linda (Dennis) Lee-Hlasta, Steven G. (Tina) Lee, Peggy (Joe) Defenderfer, and John (Susan) Lee; grandchildren, Meredith (Kevin) Hlasta-Baldwin, Erin (David) Hlasta-Foley, Maggie J. Hlasta, Erik J. Hlasta, Lindsay M. Defenderfer, Leslie A. Defenderfer-Rognstad, Luke A. Defenderfer, Pfc Kyle Lee, Samantha M. Lee, Kim S. (Brett) Balyeat, and Angie M. (Nick) Troutman; great grandchildren, Jonathan Dennis, Emma Michelle, Cooper Chester, and Hunter Lee Baldwin, Tyler and Isaac Troutman, Orian Revere Rognstad, Chloe E., Max J. and Molly K. Balyeat; siblings, Franklin (Delores) Lee, Richard K. "Kent" (Ethel) Lee, and Nancy Lee-Brown; sister in-law, Doris Lee; and beloved dog, Wilson. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2008 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow at Asbury Cemetery.
