George Luther Reid
July 22, 1929 — May 30, 2022
George L. Reid, born to John and Bertha Anise Reid on July 22, 1929: but went on an altar call in 1938 for his real born-again day and gave his life to Jesus and lived for him ever since.
George went off to the Navy and had an opportunity to operate President Truman's boats, but met Mom Jean, instead and lived his life with his sweetheart and they both honored Jesus in all they did.
They raised up a daughter, Julie, who with Jose gave them their precious grandson Brian, who found his own love, Stacey, and gave George his great grandson Reid Allen Brillon.
I'm so grateful that George was given the best honor flight ever on Memorial Day May 30, 2022 to be " absent from the body and present with the Lord (2 Cor 5:8) for eternity.. Amen
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a Funeral Service immediately after at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus - OH 43231.
