Glenn R. Bryant, 85, of Columbus, passed away Monday, November 23, 2009. Born in Alderson, WV., on February, 28, 1924, to Kathryn (Bryant) Dixon, Glenn is preceded in death by his mother; brothers, Raymond, James and Clyde Dixon; sister, Mable Arrington; grandson, Thomas Heckman. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Violet (Letchford) Bryant; son, Ronald Bryant; daughter, Lougena Gall; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mae Hobbs of Chicago, Louise of Florida, and Jenny Canterberry of WV; brothers, Luther Dixon of CA, Roy Dixon of WV., and Harold Dixon of WV; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Glenn worked for W.R. Grace for 30 years. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2009, 2-6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. Also on Monday, November 30, 2009, visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of Service at 1:00 PM. Pastor Charlie Wiley will officiate. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville, OH.
