Glenn Edison Haughn, 84, of Orient, Ohio, died May 22, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Florence Haughn, brothers Byron, James, and John. Glenn is survived by his wife of 58 years, Una; daughters, Glenda (Edward) Sheets and Brenda (Daniel) Marshman; grandchildren, Matthew (Jackie) Bryan, Nicholas Parcher, K. Danielle Marshman, Ashley (Joe) Smith, Leslie Sheets, Melanie (Jeremy) Thomas, Rebecca (Mark) Parsons, and Dawn (Charles) Marshman-Kutan ; great-grandchildren Brendan and Ariel Bryan, Evie Layton, and Nathan Parsons; brothers Dwight (Thelma) Haughn and George (Mary) Haughn; sisters Helen Toole, Donna (Bill) Martin, Betty Braskett, Elsie (Walter) Dill, and Janet (Denny) Hutchens; and many nieces and nephews. Glenn graduated from Scioto Twp. School in 1942 and was a World War II Veteran. He retired from DuPont in Circleville, Ohio, in 1985. Glenn was a kind hearted person who never met a stranger. He will be missed by many. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
