Glenn W. Wallace, a faithful man of God, loving father and a man known for his vibrant sense of humor, passed away on March 6, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on July 24, 1939, in Dunlow, West Virginia. Glenn dedicated over 30 years of his life to General Motors in Parma, Ohio, before retiring.
A man of many talents, Glenn enjoyed playing and listening to music. He loved to dance and sing, often bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Gardening and bird watching were among his favorite pastimes. A true jack of all trades, he even built two of his own homes.
Family reunions in West Virginia were cherished moments for Glenn, where he created lasting memories with his loved ones. His dedication to his four daughters was immeasurable.
Glenn is survived by his daughters, Pamela (Todd) Grove, Mary Wallace-Cook, Beth (Garry) Timmons, and Colleen (Gregory) Fitch. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Nicholas, Holly, Chad, Ricky, Kristina, Korey, Olivia, and Harley, along with many great-grandchildren. His siblings, Ruby, Clifford, Conley, Pedy, and Gene, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Wallace, and his parents, Shirl and Hessie Wallace. Glenn is also reunited in death with his siblings: Nelma, James, Fred, Dorothy, Belva, and Ann.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A graveside service will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio, at 2:30 PM.
Glenn will be remembered fondly for his laughter, love for his family, and the warmth he brought into the lives of those who knew him.
