Gloria "Sue" McElravey
Sue McElravey, 69 of Columbus OH passed away on July 26th 2023.
Sue was born on September, 10th, 1953 in Pikeville KY. Proceded in death by Parents, James and Julia (Elkins) Justice, Grandchildren, Ryleigh and Bentley Cummings. Survived by her Husband Kenny McElravey of 48 years and her sister, Linda Blackburn. Sue was a member of the Violet Babtist Church in Pickerington OH.
Sue really enjoyed working as a Kindergarten Teachers Aid for the Columbus Public Schools for over 25 years. In her spare time and weekends she just loved to sit on her front porch, drinking coffee with her husband and visiting family. Sue loved to cook big meals for her entire family and for many years she enjoyed baking and decorating cakes.. Even more, she loved her Family. She has always loved her 3 children, 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She has shared a Special Bond with her first Grand-daughter Makayla.. She always Loved and thought of Makayla as her own daughter. No bond has ever been stronger than the Two.
She will be deeply missed by her Children, Jamie (Kelly) McElravey, Kendra (Charlie) Andersen and Heather (Shawn) Cummings. Grandchildren, Donnie, Chase, Jared, Jordan, Jamilynn, Jamie Jr, Makayla (Joey) Gillespie, Torri (Zack) Baker, Zoe, Cloey, Austin, Jacob, Mackenzie, Trentin, Madison, Tyler, Mya & Coltin. Great-Grandchildren Sadie-Lee, Layla, Jensen, Paisley and one more on the way! Many more nieces, nephews and Friends.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (southwestchapel) 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 on Wednesday, August, 2nd from 5pm-8pm followed by service, Senior Pastor Rick Williams officiating.
