Goldie Lou Huston Beckman, 61, of Orient, OH passed away June 19, 2012. She was born in Floyd Co., KY on August 23, 1950.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isom Messer and Carrie Fowler. Surviving family includes, husband, John Beckman Jr., children, Cherry Artrip, Katherine Miller, Candee Messer, Michael Huston, sister, Gladys Chezeszczyk, brother, Paul D. Messer and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Kristy Baker for the loving care she gave our mother. If you have ever met Goldie you would never forget her. She was strong, courageous, smart and beautiful.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Gilbert Jerrold at 1:00pm, Saturday, June 23, 2012. Burial will follow in Grove City Cemetery.
