Gordon Furukawa, age 84, passed away on March 9, 2023. Loving husband of Sherley A. (nee Cowperthwaite) for 45 years, dear father of Dwayne (Lara) of Columbus, Ohio, and Blaine (Julianne) and grandfather of Aidan of Sunbury, Ohio.
A resident of Powell, Ohio, Gordon was born in Los Angeles, California, and lived most of his life in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.
There will not be a public visitation or memorial service as his wishes were for a private celebration of his life between immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, he wished for memorials to be made to Kobacker House/OhioHealth Hospice or to a charity of your choice.
