Gordon L. Whitt, 65, of Gahanna, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Born to Claude E. and Vivian L. (Adkins) Whitt in Osborn, OH on November 23, 1943, Gordon is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond Whitt. Survivors include his sons, Shane and Justin Whitt; sisters, Geraldine (Hubert) Gross and Rosemary (Ronnie) Ward; grandchildren, Isabelle Whitt and Ethan D. Whitt; loving canine companion, "Amish"; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gordon was a strong loving father who devoted his life to his sons. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2009, 2-5PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 5PM. Inurnment will be at Mifflin Twp Cemetery, Gahanna, OH at a later date.
