Greg A. Wharton, 57, of Obetz, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009. He graduated from Dublin High Class of 1970. Greg was the owner of GGMD Phone Service and was a workaholic. Preceded in death by an infant son; grandparents, Bessie and Clyde Watkins, Floyd and Evelyn McCoy, and James and Azalia Wharton; and father, Larry A. Wharton. Survived by wife, Natalia; mother, Marjorie Urban; sons, Jason (Debbie), and Lucas Wharton; daughters, Sarah Cacchione, and Chelsea Wharton; grandchildren, Cade Cacchione, Killian and Evan Wharton; step-daughter, Anna Mokina; sister, Cindy (Phil) Epperly; nieces and nephews; and close friends, Dennis, Terry, and Dave. Family and friends may call on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 1:00 PM until time of memorial service at 3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Rev G.A. Haubrick will oficiate. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Greg's honor to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
