Greg Edward Davis

Greg Edward Davis, 63, beloved husband, father, step father, brother, grandfather, and great step grandfather, passed away suddenly at home on Veteran's Day, Thursday, November 11, 2021. He was born on March 9, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio. Graduate of Grove City High School, Class of 1976.

He served in the US Army, 5th Infantry with an honorable discharge. Retired from Techneglas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Davis and Patricia Davis Sheets, brother, Rex Davis; step daughter in law, Trisha Hudson.

Greg is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Penny S. Davis; sons, Gregory (Raven) Davis, Dalton (Shani) Davis, daughter, Amanda Davis; stepson, Frederick Hudson and step daughter, Leighann Hudson; sisters, Robin (David) Blankenship and Sherry Davis; brothers, Jerry Davis, Mark Davis; grandchildren, Skylar Davis, Trystan Davis, Maddisyn Davis and Dalton Davis Jr.; step grandchildren, Marcus "Bubba" Hodge, Eric (Amanda) Hudson, Ashley Hudson, and many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren. Those who knew Greg saw his big heart.

He was the most caring and kind person you would ever meet. Greg was witty, nutty, and his goofiness brought laughter to every room. Greg enjoyed to bet on horse races, going to Las Vegas, and scratching those instant tickets. He will be missed by all.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 from 12:00pm until time of funeral service at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery. Rev. Richard Jones officiating.
